Welcome to the website of the Queensland Deaf Basketball Association.

We are working to provide opportunities for deaf basketballers in all levels of competition, including social, club, State and National.

We aim to develop Junior Deaf Basketball in the near future, starting around the Brisbane area.

If you currently play basketball, and would like to join deaf basketball, please contact QDBA secretaries Karen Sayer and Julie Taschke on qlddeafbball@gmail.com

Please also feel free to browse the calendar for key dates.

Junior teams!
QDBA are seeking deaf and hearing impaired players (age 15+) to compete in club competitions. Junior "Cyclones" teams (U18) play on Friday nights at Southwest Metro (Runcorn SHS) and Senior "Cyclones" teams play on Thursday nights at Brisbane Basketball. "Dolphins" teams train at Cornubia Insports on Sunday afternoons.
Please contact our secretaries if you are interested in playing.
